SURVIVOR MEGAWAYS™ STAKES, PAYLINES & SYMBOLS

The theme of the game is based on the hit TV reality show Survivor, and the design of the slot gives the perfect castaway impression that BTG would have wanted. Royal card symbols 9 through to the Ace make up the lower value symbols and wins from as low 0.2x up to 0.6x can be achieved through them. Tribal masks feature as the premium value symbols and are coloured green, blue, red, and pink, with a 6 of a kind win paying 0.7x, 0.7x, 2.5x, & 50x respectively. 

Getting the reels spinning on Survivor Megaways™ will cost you a minimum of is €0.20, whilst the maximum bet comes in at €20 a play. There are a good variety of stake sizes for players to choose from between these amounts, and finding a bet to play at that is comparable to your bankroll should be straightforward. 

The guys at Big Time Gaming have included the highly popular and entraining cascading reels feature into Survivor Megaways™, and as always it brings a high level of excitement when it's in action. BTG  have used this mechanic before in previous Megaways™ titles that include Extra Chilli Megaways™, and were indeed the first to pioneer this mechanic in Megaways™ Slots when it debuted on Bonanza Megaways™. 

Those who are new to the cascading mechanic will see all symbols that make up a winning combination being removed from the reels, new symbols will then fall down to replace them and give further opportunities to make winning connections. This will continue until there are no further wins on the reels, and then a new spin will need to take place. 

Wild multipliers are a big part of Survivor Megaways™ and they are first encountered during your play on the base game. The reels are comprised of three parts, the upper set where the female survivor is located with a starting wild multiplier of x1, the lower set where the male survivor is located with a starting wild multiplier of x1, and the centre reel which scrolls in from the right on every spin where the wild multiplier characters can appear.

To increase the value of the character multipliers you will need an Urn to land on the reel set of that particular character. These Urns can be of 1, 2, or 3 symbols in height, and it's ultimately the height that will determine the extra multiplier value that is added to your character, with each level adding x1, x2, or, x3 respectively. It should be noted that multiple Urns can land on 1 spin or via cascades, so it is possible to increase your multiplier into double figures.

For any wins that you achieve to be multiplied by a character and their value, the win must also include either, or both of the wild multiplier characters. If both of these wild multiplier characters are involved in the win then they will also multiply each other, which can lead to some decent wins. You should be aware that after each series of spins in the base game has been completed, the multiplier values will both return back to x1.

To trigger the free spin bonus on Survivor Megaways™ you will require 3 or more scatter symbols to land anywhere in view. Achieving a 3 scatter trigger will award you with 15 free spins, and each additional scatter after that will add 5 extra spins to your starting total.

Once the feature is under way on Survivor Megaways™ you are hoping to see as many of the Urns land as possible to help build up the multiplier value of the characters. The significant difference in the bonus round is that when the current spin has ended the multiplier value of the characters will not reset, so this presents you with the chance to build up good sized multipliers that can also multiply each other if they are both involved in a winning combination. 

Additional free spins may be awarded during the bonus feature on Survivor Megaways™, and this is achieved through the scatter symbols once again landing anywhere in view. If three scatter symbols appear then you will receive an extra 5 free spins, and if 4 appear you will receive an extra 10 spins.

After their latest couple of releases Royal Mint Megaways™ & Monopoly Megaways™, Big Time Gaming have certainly eased off a little when it comes to the grinding out of a bonus. Survivor Megaways™ is much more in tune with some of their early releases and it was nice to see something different with regard to the way the multipliers work during the bonus round.
