The theme of the game needs no introduction, and Blueprint have made a fantastic job in taking the American adult animated science fiction sitcom from the screen to the reels. Fans of the show will instantly recognise the backdrop to the game, and iconic symbols and images can be found throughout the slot. 

Lower paying symbols on the slot are made up of the royal card symbols 9 through to the Ace, and wins from as low as 0.1x, up to 1.5x can be formed through them. The higher value symbols on the game consist of a green gem, two blue shards, Rick, and final Morty, with a 6 of a kind win paying 2x, 2.5x, 5x, and 50x respectively.  

Spinning the reels will cost you a minimum stake of €0.10, whilst the maximum bet comes in at €10 a play. Rather impressively there are 11 bet sizes ranging from €2 down to the minimum stake, ensuring that all players can find a stake size to play at that is proportional to their bankroll. 

Blueprint Gaming have used the cascading reels mechanic on a number of their Megaways™ slots in the past such as Kong Megaways™, so it's little surprise that Rick and Morty Megaways™ also uses it, especially with it being a 117,649 Megaways™ slot which historically use this popular in game feature. 

For those that don't know, when a win is achieved on a slot that uses cascading reels the winning symbols are removed from the reels, new symbols will then drop down to fill the spaces that have been left behind. This can lead to several consecutive wins which can soon add up to a big win, especially if you have a spin in play that has generated a large amount of Megaways™.

To trigger the bonus round on Rick and Morty Megaways™ you will need to land 4 or more of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. If you successfully hit 4 scatters then you will be awarded with 12 free spins, each additional scatter that triggers the bonus will award a further 5 extra spins. 

Once the amount of free spins that you have won has been determined you will then be presented with 4 options to choose from. Three of these are free spin bonuses, and the other is a bonus wheel gamble. Firstly we will look a the free spin bonuses that you can choose from, and what each one offers.  

As the reels spin on the Vindicators free spin bonus you will notice that some of the symbols carry a monetary value, whilst others correspond with jackpot value characters situated to the right hand side of the reels. What you are hoping to see is the Vindicator symbol roll in on the upper reel, if this happens then any monetary or jackpot symbol that is on the reels will lock into place, you will then be awarded a respin to try and land more symbols to add to your winnings.

If another cash or jackpot symbol lands then you will get an additional respin, the respins will only end once you no longer add to you winning total, after the respins have ended the Vindicator symbol will collect all cash and jackpot symbol totals and add them to your bonus winnings. Keep an eye out for scatter symbols on the upper reel, if 3 or more roll in view then you will receive some extra spins for your bonus. 

When the federation Wild spins are selected each spin will see positions on the upper reel highlighted. If at the end of the spin any symbols in the reels below match the highlighted symbol above them, then they will become wild. If the highlighted symbol happens to be a wild then the reel will become fully wild with a multiplier value of how many symbols were present on it.

Players should note that additional free spins may be awarded if this bonus is selected. Landing 3 or more Federation scatter symbols will add extra spins to your current total. 

Selecting the Pickle Rick free spin feature will put players of the Megaways™ slots in familiar territory. Here you will start the bonus round with a multiplier of x1 in value, for each win and successful reel cascade that you achieve your multiplier will increase by a further x1 in value. There are no restrictions on the value that it can reach, so this is classed as an unlimited multiplier. 

Additional free spins may be awarded during this bonus round, these can be won if the scatter symbols roll in view on the upper reel. Three scatters will award you 5 extra spins, whilst four scatters will add an extra 10 spins to your current total.

Players should also note that a random amount of mystery symbols will be added to the reels at the beginning of this feature. If these land when you have a big multiplier in play you could be looking at a massive win!

If you choose to take the mystery free spins option then you will go to the mystery wheel where you will be awarded one of the 3 bonus features, and a random amount of spins. The values of the free spins up for grabs are determined by how many scatters you have triggered the bonus with.

At the end of a spin if any of these symbols have landed on the reels they will all transform into the same randomly selected symbol from the paytable.
